Gas & electric furnaces
No heat at 2 a.m.? We pick up.
Most furnace calls are an igniter, a flame sensor or a pressure switch, all of them stocked on every Saltline van. You'll see the flat price on our tablet before we start, and the price is the same at 2 p.m. or 2 a.m.

Questions
Furnaces: the straight answers.
I smell gas. What do I do?
Leave the house right away. Don't touch light switches. Once you're outside, call FortisBC's 24-hour emergency line at 1-800-663-9911. Call us once they've made it safe.
Repair or replace?
If the furnace is under 15 years old and the repair is under a third of the cost of a new one, we'll tell you to repair it. We don't work on commission.
Do you service oil furnaces?
Yes. We also help Victoria homeowners move off oil, which is often where the biggest heat pump rebates are.
